Laydee passed away September 8th, 2015 shortly after delivering her 9 beautiful pups via C-section. She suffered from a stroke caused by a blood clot to the heart. She will be greatly missed, but with any luck at all, her presence will be carried on in her puppies. She is mother to Colt, Liberty, Lucy and Sawyer as well as Grandmother to Remi, Seven, and Cabela, who all reside here with us.

Khloe was our first "rescue" and utimately a complete foster failure who came into our lives at 18 months old. Over the next 7.5 years she made us complete. She was our son's best friend and was always happy when she was with her kids. She made the big move with us from Texas to Ohio and couldn't have been any happier about being in the car for over 24 hours. She loved her car rides and sticking her head out the widow to let the wind flap her ears and lips. She would even bite at the air trying to catch it. She didn't have a mean bone in her body and was our nanny dog. She loved puppies and always wanted to claim them as her own. She was a heat magnet. Every winter we would have to force her to move away from the fireplace because her fur would be too hot to even touch, but she loved it! During the summer she would lay in the direct sun on an 100 degree day and just bake herself. She was the best snuggler you'd ever meet and gave the best hugs that no dog will ever be able to repeat. She left us with broken hearts and tear filled eyes on April 19th, 2019. There will never be another like her.
